Summary
A recent basic survey in Songea District indicates that there is a ploblematic situation facing some disabled children (Those with albinism, Deafness, blindness and other categories) who are unable to afford the special requirements as most of them came from financially challenged families.
Nuru Njema Tanzania at this Juncture,intends to support the above groups so that all relief services to be made available are tailored to them accordingly. In a nutshell the project aim to touch the lives of the four categories through participatory approach (Local Government Authorities, Donors and community members)
Challenge
In reality, most of the special requirements needed are quite expensive for the finencially challenged families in question. So far there are some stakeholders (including the local government authories) trying their best to support these chilren in one way or the other but the contribution is not that enough to suffice the general equipments. There for we really need concerted efforts in tackling/Solving such as a ploblems.
Solution
In order to get rid of the problematic situation decribed above Nuru Njema Tanzania is Compelled to solicity for finencial assistance (from Donors) with which various special requirements in need can be purchased and distributed to the beneficiaries mentioned earlier.
We Nuru Njema Tanzania believe that special reqiurement like wheel chairs, special sticks and jelly (suncreen) for those with albinism are mostly imported and expensive hence the need to be supported in our project activity implementation in there to stay.
