Summary
This Concept paper/note comes as aresult of the factual information that private Schools have a huge contribution on the question of quality education in our Country. Nyasa district is sorrounded by the Lake Nyasa it has total population of 146,160 People where by 71,392 are male and 74,768 are females. The average household size is 4.7 and sex ratio is 95. Basically Nyasa is a newly established District in the United Republic of Tanzania with no any Private secondary school since independence. Most of the local community members do indulge in fishing industry though an indigenous way and that other agricultural activities are quite limited due to the nature of the area (i.e Unfit for various farming activities). Nuru Njema Tanzania has noted this challenges and would like to tackle it by constructing School infrastructures that will Accomodate children from different classes/families hence paving the way for quality education to all
Challenge
Since quality education is one of the basic need for individual development, lack of school in this area (Nyasa district) is something to be reckoned with. As started earlier private schools provide absolute quality education when compared to the Government established schools. The current situation of women and children in this district is very DESPERATE as the women population is always underserved. The situation is more aggravated by the pandemic of HIV/AIDS since 1986 which has left a big number of children as the Orphans who need support. Currently, all these children need of quality education that will enable them to tackle various life challenges.This proposed secondary school can definitely pave the way for the said education once it is Constructed and run in a proper Manner.
Solution
Strategies;
1.Raising a good amount of funds for constraction of private Secondary School in Nyasa District could be the best and significant action
2.Local community involvement is endeed suggested for the smooth (Project) implementation
3. An amount of school fees to be paid by 70% of the total chidren/student to be enrolled will also cover for the running costs of the OVC who are targeted 30% (will study without paying)
4.The proper Project Management by Nuru Njema Tanzania is KEY to generate Success.
